Jonathan Dupont ATII Crypto Taskforce

Jonathan Dupont is a subject matter expert in anti-financial crime (AFC) specializing in the investigation of cryptoassets as well as human trafficking and crimes against children. He acquired extensive experience in a traditional money services business for over five years before transitioning into a role focused on blockchain forensics and cryptocurrency investigations. His role as a financial investigator has enabled him to conduct a large number of complex and higher-risk investigations on a wide range of criminal typologies. Some of his investigations resulted in major (trans)national investigations that helped law enforcement disrupt organized crime groups. He often leads and contributes to major research publications related to human trafficking and child sexual exploitation for international organizations, as well as education material for the global AFC community. He also publishes articles on a broad range of relevant financial crime topics and often participates to AFC-related events within leading organizations to raise awareness about the most critical issues in the financial sector. Jonathan has been part of ATII since 2021, where he is leading crypto investigations related to the sale of CSAM. He also enjoys building larger cases and connecting actors from multiple sectors together to fight the sexual exploitation of children.
