WHAT

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Training Program is a national network of:

  • 61 coordinated task forces

  • Representing over 5,400 federal, state, and local law enforcement

  • Dedicated to investigating, prosecuting and developing effective responses to internet crimes against children

This new multi-leveled training program is aimed to support law enforcement investigations pertaining to online crimes against children, sex trafficking and its correlation to illicit finance.

Using the latest technology from Maltego, Shadowdragon(Socialnet), Blockchain Intelligence Group (QLUE), ADF Solutions (Digital Evidence Investigator - DEI) - we are training law enforcement on OSINT, Blockchain Intelligence. Darkweb Intel, IoT Forensics, and Digital Forensics.

Cryptocurrency and Financial Crime Investigation

This course covers the skills investigators need to conduct successful online investigations involving social media, data brokers, and open source information.

Topics include internet basics such as IP addresses and domains, an overview of currently popular social media platforms, best practices for building an online undercover profile, and overview of basic darkweb investigation.

Instructors demonstrate both free (open-source) and commercially available investigative tools for social engineering, information gathering, and artifacts related to social media; as well as automated utilities to capture information and crawl websites.

This course covers the skills investigators need to conduct successful online investigations involving the Darkweb.

Topics include utilizing various selectors within our licensed Darkweb Intel Platform, like SSH Keys, IP Addresses, Google Analytics Tags, FavIcons, JavaScript's to perform link analysis and map out large, organized criminal networks. You will pivot from the darkweb to the internet to deanonymize various threat actors. Instructors will demonstrate this capability using our licensed Darkweb Intel Platform and Maltego.

This course covers the skills investigators need to conduct successful blockchain forensics investigations involving the Darkweb.

Topics include various types of cryptocurrency, clustering, transaction types, different graphs, asset tracing and best practices involving subpoenas, warrants, production orders or the seizure of funds.

Instructors will demonstrate various blockchain forensics applications and data analytics software. Students will be using our licensed Darkweb Intel Platform and other software to provide attribution to cryptocurrency addresses on the darkweb that are linked to criminal activities, particularly related to sex trafficking and money laundering.

This course provides attendees with the fundamental knowledge and skills related to the investigation of virtual currency-associated cybercrimes.

The course will explain the concepts of money, virtual currency, cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and proof of work. Attendees will then learn how the industry-leading cryptocurrencies work and how they are different.

The cryptocurrencies covered in this course will include Bitcoin, Monero, and others. Finally, attendees will use this knowledge to investigate crimes related to cryptocurrency and the best practices for seizing and securing cryptocurrency.
